Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and a commitment to serving halal meat, Wicked Tea Cafe is a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious, authentic dishes without compromising dietary preferences.
The moment you step inside Wicked Tea Cafe, you feel the love and care that the owners pour into their food and service. Customers rave about the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, making every visit feel like a homecoming. With a cozy setup that encourages patrons to relax, socialize, and savor their meals, this cafe transcends the typical dining experience. It is not just a place for food; it's a warm refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
On my visit, I was immediately drawn to the eclectic menu, starting with the teriyaki chicken appetizer and the crispy scallion pancakes. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, with each bite accentuated by the knowledge that it's halal. The scallion pancakes were a delight—golden and crispy without being greasy, a perfect starter that sets the tone for the meal.
The highlight of my experience was the chicken herbal fried rice, which stood out for its subtle yet distinct herby flavor. This unique twist on a classic dish made it a memorable choice that I can't stop thinking about. The General Tso’s chicken was another star of the show, boasting the ideal balance of crispy texture and a sweet-spicy sauce that keeps you coming back for more.
Beverage lovers will find a paradise at Wicked Tea Cafe, especially with their inventive boba tea options. The watermelon mango with green apple bursting boba and the lychee peach with blueberry pearls were not only refreshing but also creatively crafted to complement the meal perfectly. And let’s not forget the quirky and cozy tea area, complete with board games and comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot to linger after your meal.
If you’re someone who thrives on flavor, don’t miss the wasabi dipping sauce. A total flavor bomb, it adds a spicy kick to the delightful array of dishes. In conclusion, Wicked Tea Cafe delivers a trifecta of halal food, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere that makes it stand out in Mansfield’s culinary scene. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to indulge in fresh, flavorful dishes with a heartwarming touch. Come for the food, stay for the vibe—you won’t regret it!
“ I have always ordered from Quans and have tried other places but was never impressed enough to switch. Wicked Tea Cafe has absolutely won me over with just one visit!!! Normally I despise egg rolls but because all the other food was so amazing I decided to try the egg rolls and was so happy I did! The crab ragoons were insanely delicious! Honestly this place brought back memories of how Chinese takeout used to taste like. Everyone else could really learn a thing or 50 from this restaurant! Amazing food, definitely have a new customer! ”
“ This ten-store street "mall" has two of Mansfield's best take-out (or very casual eat-in) eateries: Cousin's and Wicked Tea Cafe. Don't be fooled by the unassuming scene when you enter The Wicked, as I call it. All the action happens in the back where they turn out an amazing array of consistently excellent dishes, cooked quickly to order. My favorites are definitely the Pad Thai, scallion pancakes, and fried rice, but that's barely skimming the top of the menu. At the register is where the drinks happen: every form of tea and slushies, with boba, in mango, watermelon, and coconut, if you want, or just premium tea and coffee. They also have a second room full of coffees and teas by the bag, and lots of gorgeous tea sets you can look at while waiting for your food. The seating is what I would call "after school teen hangout", which makes it great for small families with restless kids. Last, not least, the folks at the counter, are as friendly as you're going to find in Mansfield. ”
“ The food is really good, the perfect balance of noodle and vegetables. You know how you go some place and you typically get more noodles that aren't evenly coated and cooked, well this place seems to have it down pat where there's enough vegetables where it's satisfying. The tea selection here is amazing, I didn't book a tasting but I did have the jasmine tea on the menu and smelled the tea in the back space. Amazing. I don't love around there but I will plan to return ”
“ This place is very cool! Crab Rangoons are delicious, light, and crispy-fried to perfection. I enjoyed browsing at the tea selection, and other drink options they had and noticed they had a tea tasting session that you can book. Would like to come back and check it out again! ”
“ Wicked Tea is an absolute gem! Not only is this a tea shop carrying small batch Chinese teas that the owner gets directly from the small farms, but this is an amazing Chinese food restaurant. The owners wife is the sweetest hardworking lady from China and you can tell how much passion she has when tasting the food. Her HOMEMADE crab rangoons are simply amazing—crispy, flavorful, and unlike any other I've had. I will be thinking about these Rangoon until I can get my hands on them again. The egg rolls are also handmade and amazing. The shrimp and broccoli was delicious and a big portion. The vegetable lo main noodle was my favorite. We also had amazing eggplant, curry rice noodles, and scallion pancakes. All delicious! Before eating, we had traditional tea service with Ian the owner and tasted a wide variety of delicious and aromatic teas during the service. It was so interesting and Ian told us all about the different teas and how they are made and grown. The iced boba tea is another highlight, with perfect textures and delightful flavors, at least 10 different ones. We had the taro flavor that was lovely. We took home 2 bags of tea from the shop and a bag of snowy owl coffee which is roasted on Cape Cod. Everything is done with a lot care and everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic tea and dining experience! They have takeout and delivery as well! --- ”
“ We ordered delivery and it came pretty quickly and everything was still hot. The general tsos chicken was delicious, egg rolls were humongous and the perfect texture. My boyfriend says the crab rangoons are the best near us and the frozen lemonade were great(bonus for the cute spoon!) The only downside was the spare ribs I got as my side were really dry and the pork fried rice was just ok. We will definitely be trying more food from here! Wish we had tried it sooner! ”
“ Wicked Tea is an absolute gem and easily one of our favorite finds in Massachusetts. What immediately stood out to us—and honestly sealed the deal before we even ordered—is that they serve halal meat. That’s a rare and deeply appreciated commitment, especially for families like ours who are always on the lookout for halal-friendly spots that don’t compromise on flavor or vibe. This place is a true mom-and-pop shop, and you can feel the love in both the food and the service. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a space where people can enjoy good food, relax, and feel right at home. We started off with the teriyaki chicken appetizer and scallion pancakes. The chicken was tender and full of flavor, and knowing it was halal just made every bite feel even better. The scallion pancakes were crispy and delicious—perfectly golden and not too greasy. The chicken herbal fried rice was something special. It had a subtle herby taste that made it really unique compared to the usual fried rice dishes, and it was cooked perfectly. The General Tso’s chicken was crispy, just the right amount of sweet and spicy, and you guessed it—100% halal! Now let’s talk about the boba. We tried the watermelon mango with green apple bursting boba, and the lychee peach with blueberry pearls. Both drinks were refreshing, creative, and the perfect finish to a solid meal. They also have a super chill tea area with comfy seating, board games, and a really cozy setup that makes you want to hang out for a while. It’s not just a place to grab food—it’s a place to enjoy your time. One spicy highlight was their wasabi dipping sauce—a total flavor bomb! It brought the heat, but in a way that made you want to keep going back for more. Bottom line: Halal food, amazing service, fresh flavors, and a laid-back vibe—Wicked Tea checks all the boxes. It’s the kind of place you want to support, return to, and recommend to others. If you’re looking for a solid halal-friendly spot with personality and heart, this is it. ”
